I have read a question on deviantArt, someone asked if all artists start out as beginners?
The answer is yes, they do. In the book of Betty Edwards (Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain) you can read about how the drawings of a child changes as (s)he gets older.
Many people have stopped drawing after highschool and their art skills and artistic view remained at that level where they were when they have stopped drawing. If later they decide to draw there will be a difference in skills between them and between those artists who never stopped creating. This is natural, because practice makes perfect, the more you practice the better you get.
When you ask if all artists have started out as a beginner, it can mean that you are not satisfied with your own art skills at the moment. I share a few tips on what to do about those feelings in the video.
Have fun drawing! You will see improvement soon enough.
